THE COMPANY behind a $400 million “active sports theme park” to be built on the Coast have just released a Mission Impossible-style promo video.
Helicopters, trail bikes and parachutes are all employed in the two-minute long piece of cinematography released yesterday promoting the $400 million development which has been flagged as a home for Australia’s first wave pool.
Late last month the investors announced plans for the development which was hoped to deliver about $29 million extra to the region each year in salaries and wages, creating 2000 indirect and direct jobs.
Company founder Bradley Sutherland said the project proposed for Steve Irwin Way and with backing from Dubai-based investment firm Najibi Capital was based around major action sport projects in Dubai and around the world.
Sure the video may be a little thin on exact designs and details, but it does allude to a wave pool, hotel, great lawn and action sports within the site plans.
What do you reckon of this video?
If the park is as epic as the trailer the Coast could be in for a real treat.
